April 2018 Edition

• If you read our previous newsletter, you already know that FEA is a very unique Foundation, that responds to needs we uncover in our daily interaction with people in the industry. Our main goal to distribute to programs and beneficiaries, 100% of the donations we receive.

FEA continues to thrive. Over the past 14 months we launched not one, but two complete online platforms addressing long-time needs: complete and up-to-date directories for individuals and entities offereing Equine-assisted therapy and horse rescue/retirement services.

Both platforms were created, developed and launched with resources provided to FEA over the past two years. The projects were made possible by our main funder, Equestrian Spirit (also a non-profit), with the belief that the service should be available totally free of charge to the individuals and entities offering services, and to the general public seeking those services. The great majority of the entities are not-for-profit and we ensure the non-commercialisation of the platforms.

Here are some of our achievements since the last newsletter:

• The Official HORSE RESCUE REGISTRY (HRR)
The first version of FEA's Official online Horse Rescue Registry was launched in March. This is the largest independent online registry totally dedicated to horse rescue and related services.

With over 4,000 listings of individuals and entities offering services related not only to horse rescue itself, but also to horse rehabilitation, re-training, protection and retirement. The owner/Manager of each entity can log in and customize their information at will, or we do it for them when they ask.

The registry presently covers the USA and Canada. More countries are to be added as soon as the harvesting of the data needed is completed.

• EQUINE-ASSISTED DIRECTORY (ETR) UPDATE
The largest independent online registry of equine-assisted therapy entities was updated and now offers over 1,500 listings of entities from all over the world. The owner/Manager of each entity can to log in and customize their information at will, or we do it for them if they prefer going that way. With ETR the entities are able to provide the right information to the public, but they can also let eveyone know about their upcoming events, and even make special offers.

A fundraiser was tested using the GoFundMe platform. It was concluded that it could really be effective only with our own marketing efforts.

• AMAZON-SMILE
FEA was approved by Amazon on their special donation platform named AmazonSmile where they donate a portion of their sales to a charity of your choice. has launched Shop, Save and Support Program.

• VEHICLE DONATION PROGRAM
FEA has made its Vehicle Donation Program available to all non-profit entities. The system is simple, very easy to set up and has the potential of eliminating the stress and efforts associated to conventional fundraising.

• SUPPORT TO NPOs
Just as it did with the Vehicle Donation Program (above), FEA is willing and eager to help other non-profit entities use FEA's advanced fundraising systems as their own.

NPOs of any size, from very small to large, can now use FEA's system on a unique revenue-share basis, proven to be very beneficial for everyone. Now any entity may receive donation of motor vehicles, real estate, insurance policies, airplanes, boats, integible assets (stocks, bonds, contracts, etc), and pretty much anything that has a certain value, in a simple way using FEA's step-by-step processes.

Free access to information & professional advisors specialized in financial planning, insurance, and retirement.	Facilitating donations of any type of assets, to any non-profit entity, while maximizing the net amount to beneficiaries.



CAR DONATION	CHARITABLE REAL ESTATE GIVING	SHOP, SAVE & SUPPORT
Donate a vehicle to FEA or other non-profit, and the amount will often be more than double to the beneficiary.	Education and information on using this approach to generate a win-win situation.	Continue shopping online, but now save and support a cause you care about.
